'SOUTH YORKSHIRE WOMEN IN INDUSTRY' ORAL HISTORY PROJECT

Ltd, Stocksbridge, 1920 If you have worked, or are working, in industry in Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham or Sheffield and would like to record your experiences for future generations, historians and researchers we would like to hear from you.

South Yorkshire Women's Development Trust is delighted to have been awarded funding by the Heritage Lottery Fund to carry out an Oral History project 'South Yorkshire Women in Industry'. The project aims to research and archive the experiences of South Yorkshire women working in industry over the past 100 years, record their experiences and celebrate their contribution to the region's heritage.
